Football players and pop stars are often given incredibly inane questionnaires in order that their adoring public can gain an insight into the "real" person behind the star studded façade. So why should Nomads swimmers be any different?

This edition we focus on Jonnie "I can beat the world" Burke.

Stickleback: How are you Jonnie?
JB: Fine

Sbk: What age are you?
JB: 35

Sbk: Surely not?
JB: Well, I am in fact regularly mistaken for 29

Sbk: When did you join Nomads?
JB: 1981

Sbk: Which other clubs have had the considerable honour of your membership?
JB: Clydebank, Castlerock, Harlow, Guildford City, City of Leeds, City of Newcastle

Sbk: What is your best event?
JB: 800 Free of course

Sbk: What is your PB for 800 Freestyle?
JB: At least I finished mine Mr McKinney!!!

Sbk: Say something nice about the coach.
JB: It is safe to say that I wouldn't have achieved half of what I did had it not been for Jimmy

Sbk: What is your favourite other sport?
JB: I desperately want to say "Football" but everyone knows I support the Bankies

Sbk: Favourite drink?
JB: Herbal tea - Okay then - beer, wine, whisky, brandy, whatever!

Sbk: Favourite food?
JB: Rice Krispies

Sbk: What's your "porn star" name?
JB: altogether now - Ben Burns

Sbk: Tell us something we didn't know about you.
JB: although I am 35, I am often mistaken for 29
